A small, not purebred doggie got lost in a city … The vanity and boredom of the dog exhibitions and the cheerful cynicism of the market where owners sell “the best friends” entered its doggy life; the struggle for survival of the inhabitants of dumps contrasts to the lazy well-being of the well-cared house dogs. Gentle and sentimental scenes with dogs-nurses, the bloody clashes of fighting dogs, the cage of «the hunters for the live goods» – all these make for the consistence of a lonely city dog’s life. The film is without the narrator’s voice.
